I've been doing 2 hrs a day of hanging but also wanted to push myself harder. ADS gives little tension so I wrapped a guitar strap to my foot to really stretch (more than the velcro wraps that rip off under tension) this feels about what 7.5lb hanging feels like but I definitely can straighten my leg to feel 10.
The reason I'm doing this is because I hang late at night and in the meantime this is super comfortable. I just lay in bed like this watching TV.
Is this a good "invention"? I can stretch and hold the tension instead of standard ADS where you walk around at low tension. I can just lay down and I can stretch harder than I hang for short periods of time even. I just straighten my leg
As you can tell, my leg is slightly bent and holds completely still. My circulation is much better because it wraps around my foot like a sock. If I straighten my leg out I get tension I haven't felt hanging, but I opt just to keep that hanging feeling and set the strap to be most comfortable this way too.
