I'm genuinely curious when I see these kinds of questions as to WHY they matter so much?

Why do people need anyone else need arbitrary size categories to quantify themselves by?

Isn't it enough to say "I am "x" size in an absolute measurement like inches or centimeters rather than literally making shit up?

Or better yet, why not care about the opinions of the people you're using it on rather than strangers on reddit who are in no way better qualified than the average person to answer your question?

If I was doing a survey on my size, the first and really only persons opinion I would care about, IF I WAS GOING TO CARE ABOUT ANYONES OPINION, would be the person it's being used on. Again, not that I need anyone else's opinion to feel content with myself.
