How do you differentiate between hypoxic clamping and expansive clamping? Just the number of toe shields you use?

Expansive clamping, you continue to stimulate yourself in hopes of keep expanding ?

Yeah I use 9 toe shields for hypoxic clamping and 12 toe shields for expansive clamping.

I'm doing hanging and pumping (5x2 min, then rest followed by another 5x2 min). And every other session, I do clamping. Is this too much?

Also, you're saying, keep the set length to 5 min for expansive clamping? And it's best to keep the hypoxic clamping to the end? Why is that? Isn't expansive clamping hypoxic in nature as well?

I know you've looked into doing expansive cleaning the way sodium does it. With BDs new video out about clamping, how would you suggest clamping to be done? Currently I'm doing 1 set of 8 min hypoxic clamping (as sort of a warmup if you will) where I just put on the toe shield and leave it. Then 2 sets of 8 min expansive clamping where I continually stimulate myself.

Would this be too much?

At what discrepancy should you "fill in the sausage"?
