I saw someone post that their pump gauge was off by 5 in hg and advised against cheap vacuum pumps with gauges. Before I read the comment, thatโs always been something in the back of my mind when I see such cheap pumps sold.
Is this really something to be concerned about? If so, how would one check the accuracy of their vacuum gauge?
I poked around online last night and found Ashcroft to be a highly regarded gauge company that builds their products in the USA and wondered if it would be worth the trouble of buying one of their gauges to install on my pump.
Thoughts on this?
