To those who’ve been on long term antidepressants or have gotten off them.
Post Body

So I’ve recently decided after being on medication for 5 years now, I’m going to wean off them. I feel like I’ve developed better coping skills and have changed a lot of my mindset through cbt and dbt.

I feel like the antidepressants are keeping me depressed. I feel emotionally stunted all the time. I don’t have motivation, and brain fog. All of which might be the antidepressants. I don’t even know who I really am without the antidepressants anymore.

So to those that have been on antidepressants for a long time and have gotten off them, what have you noticed and are you better off without them?
