[NeedAdvice] How to retain knowledge from a non fiction book?
Author Summary

Post Body

There is a book I really like. I listened to the audiobook some time ago and took some notes. The thing is I only remember like 10 percent of the book. I would like to "internalize" the knowledge from the book so that I remember it all the time and can use it in situations mentioned in the book.

Also taking notes while listening to the audiobook is tedious.

I was thinking of trying to recall all the previous info every time I listen to the audiobook.

What do you guys think? Whats the best way to retain/internalize the knowledge? (I cant apply the knowledge due to current situation. The book is related to social situations).

Edit: I listen to audiobooks not the physical version.
