I’m really wanting to set myself straight in terms of diet. I have a gym, walking route that is about 3 miles total, and plenty of gym clothes to keep me consistent. But my diet has been hard. I have zero motivation to cook for myself but I know that is by far the only thing stopping me from losing weight and getting lean.
I’m currently 26M, 5’8, 275-280, no physical issues outside of my knees hurting after running.
You’d see me and not know I’m 280 at my heaviest. Which is great to hear someone tell me I don’t look like it but deep down I know it’s not what I want and working out has been good but could be better.
I want to be disciplined with cooking. I just don’t know where to start. I have a hard time following diet plans. So my questions really are if you do cook for yourself, what are your go to healthy meals? Did you learn from books, YouTube, or a cooking class? Is there anyone I could check out online you’d recommend for beginners? Would it be worth it to see a dieticiain?
I’ve got my glass Tupperware, a new set of kitchen knives, and plenty of budget to get a solid grocery list. Any advice and recommendations to get this accomplished would be much appreciated!
