Questions about shift planning

Post Body

Hi everyone,

I have some questions regarding the legality of the shift planning. Some backstory: I started working for a company which has an app based shift plan, and we receive the upcoming shift (of the next week) really late this week.

Bare in mind that the company works also on Saturday and Sunday.

I have not found anything related to this, but is there some rule german companies need to follow in order to give the shift plan?

If I want a specific day off, are they obliged to give it to me?

If yes, how much earlier should I ask for a free day?

What are my rights in this case?

Thanks and I hope in a response
