My future employer (university) needs certificate of conduct (one among several documents) to issue me the job contract.

I used to live in city A and was registered here. The last 7-8 months, I am living in a different city (B) temporarily and I did not register here because registering in a new city brings more trouble to my visa situation. Also I am moving back to old city (A) in few months. So, it made sense to not register in the new city.

Considering that my city registration is still in the old city (A) , is there any problem if I apply for this certificate ?

I am not able to make a decision about this. And would be glad to hear from people who had applied for this certificate, anything to be careful about when applying .
