Kleo (2 now) was born with an eye disease that makes her blind in one eye at birth and will eventually be blind in both eyes. Something that really hurts me inside and makes me hysterically cry is the thought that one day she is going to wake up and she won’t be able to see me anymore. She will only be able to hear my voice through a plain of darkness. She is only 2 and has one good eye left and i’m trying my damndest to let her see the world while she can. I’ve trained her, taken her anywhere and everywhere, and i try to give her the most fulfilling life i can. But the haunting thought in the back is my brain is that when she dies she won’t even be able to see my face and can only listen to my voice. I talk to her like a person. I taught her how to remember peoples names by scent, I just hope that she remembers mine. ❤️ appreciate all your babies and be fortunate that they have all of their functioning senses , Because one day i have to accept this..
“Mama, It’s dark,Where are you? I cant see you. I can hear you…why cant i see you?”
Thankyou ❤️ it’s just she is always staring at me, it fucks with me
These are her trained tasks , as well as what i’m working on now, i’ve been training her for 2 years constantly

sorry that was supposed to be a heart ❤️

Not really, since the eye itself doesn’t cause her pain , as of right now that we know of, she has way to much blood flow to her head and eyes we are still trying to figure out what exactly is wrong
she was supposed to be in so glad i have her, Some “breeders” were going to shoot her out back if they could give her away for being “defective”
That’s so cute about the fish and thankyou
I’m not trying to portray her as super sad if you read through the comments i mentioned how well trained she is and i’ve made absolutely sure she will be able to get around but because of the increases blood in her eye and brain she won’t live as long and is more likely to have seizures when she is older and i cant imagine seeing her in pain
