We are planning to buy at Parkside on the river. New construction and not a lot can be find on the net regarding the community and amenities.

Any suggestions?

I'm not a homeowner so don't take my advice as seriously as others, but living off of 29 is awful. You're picking a neighborhood that will be perfect in 5 years, when people finally start investing and building shit off 29. The closest thing you got is an HEB that was just built, one Mexican restaurant to your left, and then the next closest place is in Wolf Ranch. It's kind of a food desert at least for 5 miles or so. The views are probably great, but the commute is terrible. Unless you work from home, or you work somewhere within 15 minutes of that neighborhood, you're going to be sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on 29, Ronald Reagan, University, everywhere close by. And trying to go to Austin from Georgetown sucks, exit 254-251 is always backed up, and the service streets suck.

All of that is to say, maybe look for someplace in Larkspur, a little closer to already developed shopping centers and restaurants.
