How common is no overtime with a field salary job that is expected to work an average of 45 to 50 hours a week?
80% field and 20% office work. Field work is mostly scheduled but whatever is needed for the day / week. No such clocking in, just get done what is needed to be done for the day. 1/4 weeks is out of state travel with driving done to the site on Sundays. Busy months are expected to be 60 hours a week Mon-Fri.
All the other jobs I got interviews for paid for overtime with PTO or 1.5x. My state allows for science jobs to be overtime exempt.
