Advice from workers in the field
Post Body

Hello all in this subreddit, I am looking for some advice before I start going down the path of rocks! I am currently active duty in the Navy and will be separating next year in order to attend college to major in Geology. One of my big questions was when it comes to choosing a college, how intensely do companies look at the college you graduate from? My main worry is that I get a degree but the company I want to join will jump over me for a better college. Also, I can't help but worry about trying to get a job after graduating at the age of 30, going against people younger than me.

I hope I'm not worrying for no reason, just hope to get some help. Thank you for the read!
