Like the title reads, I'm considering switching from a major in Geology to a Bachelor in Science to be able to graduate this semester. Otherwise I have to do at least on more part time semester due to difficult scheduling and to be honest I don't think I have any interest in pursuing Geology other than a couple of more fields seasons at my seasonal job.
I guess what I'm asking is if Geology offers any distinct advantages over a general science degree when looking for jobs not strictly related to geology?
Thanks in advance
