Transitioning from mudlogging into geosteering without a degree?
Post Body

Hello all! As the title says, I'm looking to transition from mudlogging into geosteering, however I don't have a degree. It seems as if most companies only want degreed geosteerers. I've been in oil and gas for roughly 13 years now, and while most of my experience comes from mudlogging, I do have roughly a year and half of MWD (laid off from previous company I worked for and back in mudlogging as the bills don't stop) and completions experience with one of the Big 4 companies.

Is it at all possible to do geosteering without a degree? Am I better off transitioning to another company that offers both mudlogging and geosteering services, as my current company doesn't offer both?

I'd appreciate any advice or leads you guys may have! Thanks in advance!
