Found crystalline coated rock with another layer under.
Post Body
Found this interesting twice coated rock. There's a crystalline coating and under that a beige layer and then the rock beneath. Thought it was a fossil when I picked it up, but the under bit doesn't look like bone to me. Any thoughts please?
Found near my house north of Austin, Texas. edited to add link to file
