With how much they've been pushing the UNESCO Geopark branding in their promotions you'd think they'd have more ecology/geology interpretation centres and trails. When I was at Kilim the museum was closed for lunch!
At least there's some semblance of protection for Langkawi compared to the unprotected "National Geoparks" status they're doing for Kinta Valley. I'm not surprised if Lafarge will have turned the whole area into aggregates and cement the next time I get to visit there.
