Do y’all think all the major pegmatites in the US have been discovered?
Post Body

I’m not a geologist, but someone with an intense interest in geology and a passion for finding cool rocks and minerals. I’ve really been wanting to go out and find my own deposits of crystals, and this made me wonder about the above question. American geology has been extensively explored, thanks to the extensive network of roads around our country and the pioneering spirit that has led to so many mineral discoveries. There doesn’t seem to be many areas left unexplored of their minerals, though we do have a vast country so I’m sure there are some relatively untouched areas. What do y’all think? Could there still be some amazing pegmatites to be discovered in our bountiful country? Let me know below.
