How prepared for the world of geology did you feel when you graduated?

I'm graduating this year and feel like I don't know anything (especially in relation to my classmates). Did/does anyone else feel like this? How much "on the job" learning is there, as opposed to remembering exactly what different minerals, features looked like etc?
