Did some caching on Arabia Mountain this weekend and the Geotrail has passwords. What do these mean/lead to?

There is a geotrail at the park; I went for a standard hike but when I realized the trail was there I found 9 in a couple of hours. GPS didn’t work well up there, so I couldn’t see the clues and hints, just location, and they were all very easy to find. Just curious if anyone has done a geotrail with passwords, and what they’re used for? I took pics of a few but between the heat and wanting to get my dog to a more shaded area, I was a bit rushed.
