First off, apologies if this isn't the most appropriate sub for this, but I just would like to share some thoughts I have had recently. Also, this is probably a little bit heavier topic-wise than the usual stuff that is posted here, so might not be your thing if you're not into it.
To put it quite simply, I was interested in your thoughts on how the world would look if women dominated society over men. I'm sure there are some people here who will agree with me when I say that the rule of the patriarchy has been highly unfair on women in some ways over the years (i.e gender pay gap, given role of housewife, etc.) so what if it was the other way around for a change?
I recently found out about an anime called Infinite Stratos, where the mechs in the show can only be controlled by women (because 'reasons') and therefore, society is controlled mainly by women due to that, so it has got me thinking about this again.
Personally, I have had this conversation a couple times about a female-dominated society and the types of things I think would occur. One thing I talked about with one girl, is a role we played out where she hosted a mansion party (almost like Eyes Wide Shut) where all the guests were of very high class and, it goes without saying, all women. The men of this party were all servants, or erotic dancers for the guests, and alot of them got cat-called and objectified by the women of the party and there was no shame in it, just a lot of harmless fun. Instead, the men would be ones blushing or maybe slightly uncomfortable if it got too much, but in this world, they know what they're getting into.
TLDR; female-dominated society, yay or nay? how would you fit in? what would you expect to see more or less of in this new society?
