I just want to vent about something.
Recently I had an owner/mommy. We have been talking a lot through online and we have time differences too of course. Which was more than 12 hours . We agreed to communicate if have any problems and all. And few days ago i texted her late by a few hours because there was a holiday and I could wake up a few hours later. Then I replied to her messages and since then it was silence.
Till 30 mins ago, she told me I didn’t reply her message on time like as usual (public holiday) and I was at fault for not telling her the night before. So I apologised. And now she said its over and then she proceeded to have a open slot for a new puppy right after this message. I’m honestly heart broken and having my trust issues worsen.
So is this actually my fault?
To put it simply: run and don’t look back. You did nothing wrong. If she overreacts to something that minor, you’re better off without her.
I would say that time differences can make things very difficult and if they feel that they don't get any quality time with you due to the time difference (for example, when you are free they are at work or asleep, and vice versa). Then ending it would be reasonable and it's not about replying late but the distance being too much and preventing a connection.
I would say it is unfortunate, and she could have handled it better, but you are just strangers chatting online and sounds like you have never met, so she doesn't really owe you anything and with the distance it wasn't working for her. My recommendation from my experience is to try and find someone within your timezone, and if you meet with them then it's likely to be a more lasting connection than online-only where people just disappear without any warning.
