Howdy fellow subs….and like,3 Doms. I’m new here so I’m gonna try and keep this short enough.

People in the BDSM Femdom community like to talk ALOT about the dreaded “ratio” (for an example see: Intro statement) & while that is an concern to me, I’ve noticed a much more interesting issue present that I wanted to get some feedback on

A few months back I started attending community meetings, going to BDSM gatherings and just trying to break into the local community, meet people,interact,possibly even find a dommy mommy looking for a short king,who knows?simply, I’ve been trying to spread my wings if you will. Well, that goal has had an seemingly uncommon roadblock… and I would like to preface this by saying that I’m on the younger side. the 18-25 bracket & evidently…I’m the ONLY one in this bracket! Cause what I’ve noticed in my attendance of these get togethers is that EVERY OTHER person there is like 45!

Like my expectations for meeting people in that bracket were already low but DAMN, they have been blown straight outta the water and into space. In the probably 50 events I’ve gone to,I’ve only met 1 other youngin & my with luck being what it is: she was a heavily committed lesbian. So…atleast she’s happy. And it hasn’t necessarily been all bad, me being so young and in the community has led to plenty of fellow kinksters wanting to know my story but like…ma’am, respectfully, the Mommy thing is supposed to be metaphorical.

Now, idk if this is a common issue, hell idk if this is even an issue but it is to me so I wanted to get y’all’s thoughts on it. Cause like, maybe I’m just going to the wrong meetings, maybe I’m just not stationed in the right area, maybe I’m not looking in the right places, this problem very much might be one of my own accord. I’m not really sure. What I am sure of is that at the current moment, the age gap scares me WAY more than the gender gap.
