Yes, I have ghosted before and it was with a domme I met online, something with a developed connection over several months. Without getting too personal someone I cared deeply for saw our messages and I had no choice (or so I thought at the time) to nuke absolutely everything NSFW; Reddit, Discord, Skype, Telegram. Within a few days of doing so was racked with guilt and messaged my domme to explain what was going on but essentially needed to take time to reassess things.
