I’ve had a few games with my 20 deep blobs and just find that the range and volume of fire is underwhelming. The amount of t4 Benefit of Cover, rattling off full salvos that are against 2 and 4 just seems like maybe it’s better to have the harder punch with a prayer at dropping a model a wound. You lose range, and take a hit if you need to move to stay out of range but I think I’ll give Lasers a go.
Also, what are you using as your secondary? I tried Grenades and they seemed to lack any serious threat.
I might just be trash at dice as well. 😝
