Tempestus Scions as Brood Brothers?

My brothers and sisters of the cult, I was thinking of picking up a start collecting for Tempestus Scions to use the bodies and Taurox for conversion purposes, but after looking through Brood Brothers again I realized I could run them as a Brood Brothers detachment instead of Neophyte Hybrid proxies.
I'm looking for thoughts and input. Are Scions intelligible for BB and I missed it? Should I convert them in a certain way? Would they be more helpful as tempestus Scions or as Neophyte proxies?
