Hi all - i'm interested for thoughts and opinions on UK GDPR implications for the linked scenario which is all over social media and news outlets at the moment. To keep it short (if you don't already know the details): In this case, an individual is live-streaming themselves playing a piano in public at St Pancras International station. My understanding is that a group of individuals then request not to be filmed whilst they are using the piano themselves.
Presumably, the individual live-streaming would be subject to UK GDPR, classified as a data controller and would be using legitimate interests as their lawful basis for processing personal data during live-streaming. As such, the individuals have a right to object to the processing. Please let me know if you disagree or have an alternative opinion. Thanks!
