I’m soon gonna be 30 next year and at this point I’m really just hoping my attraction to older guys changes and be able to like guys around my age.

I’ve tried talking to people my age but even conversationally I’m only able to hold up with older guys. At this point I’m like why is this not changing? I’ve done enough therapy and make my own living. I don’t think I need a father figure to carry myself around better.

However, I was hoping that it would change my dating behavior if I opened my mind a little further. I still am only able to find spark with older guys until they don’t. But I guess I’m at a point where I’m content being all by myself.

I wish I was able to like someone around my age. Being gay in a straight world is hard enough, being attracted to older guys in a gay world is even harder and let alone be with someone who shares the same Christian values.
