Edit: As u/EWDiNDL said, it's a mix of ethnicity and 'which culture/country/place you're assimilated to'. If I could fit more than 6 options, I would have chosen Ethnicity (Thanks reddit 😑). If I wanted location, it would just devolve to 'In what continent do you live on?' minus Antarctica. If I wanted culture, there would be too little option. So I compromised.

Edit 2: Apparently mobile can't fully display the last option properly so to clarify it's European/African/North and South American - Asians.

I'm curious and would like to know the numbers, NOT a research. I wanted to separate many of these like Mainland & Maritime SEA, Siberia and Central, Middle East and especially Outside Asia(Europe/Africa/N. and S. America) but Reddit only allows 6 options 🙄.

There are special countries here like Turkey, Cyprus, Armenia, Georgia and Russia that's culturally(fully or partially) European but geographically(fully or partially) Asian. For example if your a Cypriot or Russian and you identify more as European compared to West and North Asian, respectively, please choose European Asian. Thanks! 😁
