I watched a movie and I cried like a baby, and I am in my mid 40
Post Body

I lately watched a movie called "everything everywhere all at once", in the movie, the mother didn't want her daughter 's gf /partner to come to their family party as the grandpa will be there , and she wasn't accepted by her dad because she ran away home when she was younger to married her current husband, but by the end she introduced her daughters gf to her dad, said this is her daughter 's gf. I just cried like an idiot thinking if I could tell my parents my good friend is my bf, and I really love this guy and we have been together for so many years, I know my parents sort of knowing some degree that we are not just " good friend" , but once a time I tried to talk to my mom about my relationship with him, she was very emotional and told me " don't you make me and your dad sad ", and I know my dad's health isn't so well, so I didn't want to mention it anymore, and my mom still told me she is praying for me( our whole family is very religious), so when I watched this Asian family drama , I know it is just drama, I feel some one who understands the complex of family oriented feeling in Asian family,I don't know how you guys know about this movie? Or watched it before ?
