Last night my boyfriend (M20) came out as asexual. I (M19) really loves him and don't want to lose him but I have a very high sex drive. He told me that he doesn't see them need for sexual experiences and then we talked about it. I told him that I would still like to have sex now and then but he didn't like the idea. Our last sexual encounter was about 5 months ago and in the past every time I brought it up or tried to set the mood he just ignored it. I don't want us to break up cause we both love each other and we truly do have chemistry. Does anyone have any advice or middle ground solutions we could try??
Edit: Thank you to everyone who gave me advice <3. I thought about it and took everyone's advice into thought. I think I'm first going to try and share my feelings and get to know his boundaries and try to work something out, otherwise I might be time for us to break up even though is going to hurt like hell.
