A new guy wants to know: what's the messaging etiquette?
Post Body

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new here (to reddit), and I've been seeing a lot of hot stuff in this sub and others. What's the etiquette: if you post pictures of yourself on here, are you open to getting unsolicited sexual messages? If I think you're cute and your pic makes me want to say dirty things to you, is that acceptable or creepy?

I feel like this is different from other sites since some people here use their accounts for many non-sexual things, and because there's much less chance I'll actually meet up with someone (since redditors are so scattered). Because of that, I'm less likely to benefit from meaningful conversation/an enduring relationship (or maybe I'm wrong about that?), making it even more likely I'll be crass.

Basically: My sexual personality is to be forward and dominant, and I want to say hey to a lot of you guys, but I don't want to be the gross guy who pisses people off.

Let me know. :)
