I miss the God game genre >.>

There has been so few good God games in the past few years. A black and white successor would make my year anyone heard any news lately?
I know godus is around the corner but it just doesn't fill the massive shoes of black and white. And it seems as if it's going down the dark ally of free to play Facebook style games. I could be wrong but either way its surely no black and white...
Anyone have similar thoughts on godus so far?
