Post Body

Hi all,

Hope everyone has a good day!

I am a PhD student at UC Davis Sociology Department. I am currently conducting research about gay men of color’s interracial dating experiences, especially “nonwhite” relationships (e.g., Asian-Black-Latino or other pairings) based in the US. This study aims to understand how queer people of color navigate racial and cultural differences in their relationships. The research is interview-based (Zoom or in-person), and will generally last about 60-120 minutes. Participants will be asked questions about their dating experiences and desires, interaction between their family, friends, and their interrelationships, and ideas about race and culture in their relationships. The study is totally anonymous and your name will be replaced with a pseudonym. Participants also do not have to answer those questions which they don’t feel comfortable with. Participants will be given a token of gratitude with a coffee or a $25 gift card after the interview. If you are interested in this research, please feel free to fill out this form with your email. Thank you!

(Note: Participants do not have to be in a relationship currently, as long as they have dated outside their race but nonwhite before)
