Hey, whatās up? š
Hereās a pic of myself: https://imgur.com/a/pR39WSb
A dating coach on Instagram recommended posting online to meet new people. When I heard it, I began telling my friend to post on Reddit since the apps havenāt been super successful for him. He has been reluctant. So, I figured that Iād test it out and take my own advice. Depending on the results, Iām even considering using it as a concept for a podcast almost like an R4R dating show (but thatās more like a random idea versus anything Iām working on immediately).
About me: Iām a 38 year old, queer, neurodivergent, demisexual here. I go by he/him pronouns primarily out of laziness, but Iām on the more masculine end of the non-binary spectrum. The best way to describe me is āfemme-broā. Iām athletic and muscular, but comfortable with expressing my effeminacy.
Iām both a creative and fitness professional, an extroverted-introvert (heavy on the introvert), and I best thrive in very intimate relationships. (I think I am an NTJ last time I checked.)
I go by āqueer-demisexualā. My primary physical attraction is to men (cis & trans). However, Iām fueled by emotional connection, and can see myself loving and enjoying sexual intimacy with men, women, and nonbinary folks alike. My perspective on relationships is quite broad. And, depending on the person, I am open to exploring a range of friendship/relationships/partnership configurations. I strongly feel that life is about exploration, expression, and creating from a place of authenticity. And, those are the values I find important when building a unique relationship with someone special.
Iām a sober, vegetarian into health and wellness, personal development, entrepreneurship, music, writing, designing on Canva, community-building, politics and culture, substantive conversations, and Iām getting more into movies.
Some of my favorite TV shows are (I love adult cartoons) Bobās Burgers, The Office, Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, Black Mirror, and Pen15. Some of my favorite movies are Doctor Strange, Bridesmaids, The Color Purple, Sister Act 1 and 2, Black Panther, and Nope. I tend to like dramas and thrillers.
Music-wise, I can listen to and enjoy a little of everything, but mostly gravitate towards neo-soul, jazz, pop, edm, and Afrobeats. Some of my favorite artists are Snarky Puppy, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Laura Mvula. (I hope one day to be a legit DJ.)
My last relationship was two years ago. Being in a partnership is important to me, but Iām willing to wait to allow the right person in my life. Additionally, any relationship for me has to be rooted in deep friendship.
Iām currently just looking to build connections virtually, but definitely want to meet up in the future. Iām open to friends and dating.
Thereās definitely more to me. So, if any of this piqued your interest, definitely hit me up. Iād like to see how right this dating coach is.
Best of luck to all of you. And, to get a conversation going, LMK what you think about my R4R podcast idea š¤.
