As a "straight" guy married to a woman for many years, I have always envied the closeness that some of my gay friends seemed to share with each other. I think all men would like to experience a greater emotional connection to other men, but are conditioned by society to not seek it. I would love to meet a gay friend who I could be more open and honest with than with my traditional male friends. And if romantic feelings developed, that would be great to explore those. But how could I go about making such a friend?
