Sometimes, we go through experiences that linger in our minds, and there's a quiet urge to tell someone about it—just to put it into words and let it out. But finding the right person to share it with isn’t always easy. Maybe it’s not something to bring up with close friends or family, or it feels too small or too random to share with anyone in your circle. That’s when talking to a stranger can seem appealing: a neutral person who can simply listen, without judgment or personal connection. There’s something freeing about sharing a story with someone who doesn’t know you and has no expectations. It’s a way to lighten the load of memory, to put the experience out into the world without needing anything in return, sometimes simply for the relief of being heard.
