Thoughts on personal trainer

I’ve [30M] been working out on and off for the last 10 years, but have never been overly serious. I think I have a decent base (see profile for pics), but feel like I am finally at a point in my life where I want to try and go all in on my fitness journey. Fairly limited life responsibility right now, so it feels right.

I’m thinking of starting out with a personal trainer twice a week to start, then switch to weekly. Looking for an extra motivational push, and guidance with form and diet.

Any advice or thoughts on hiring a personal trainer? What was your experience like and did you reach your goals? Thanks!
