Why do hookups wanna be friends after?

Recently set up 2 hookups and made it very clear it was a one time thing. I wasn’t explicit but did not exchange names/basic info. Both tops wanted my number after and to “be friends” and “do this again.” Am I not being direct enough that I don’t need to see/talk to you again?
