My partner and I have been together for 12 years now. And what we have observed is that, in our first few years, sex has been one of the biggest parts in our relationship. But now, we can go on weeks without having one.
Don't get me wrong, we still fancy each other and would naughtily tease one another quite often (e.g., slapping each other's butts) - but it doesn't necessarily lead to sex. We just felt that we reached a stage in our relationship that companionship matters more. We get to have sex when we're both in a mood for it, but to be honest we are more than contented to cuddle after a tiring day at work.
How about with the others folks here? How has the dynamics of your relationship chaged as years pass by - especially on the sex part?
