Gay couples in a monogamous relationship have you ever communicated with each other "the rules"?

Seeing so many gay open relationships now makes me wonder if monogamous gay couples simply don't use social media... have you sat down and talk about being exclusive and only having sex with one another? At what point of the relationship do you bring this up?

Comments

Not necessarily monogamy, but “semi-open”.

We both have friends with benefits from before we met, and if we meet anyone new they have to meet our respective partner first.

I’m okay with my partner hooking up and having friends because my libido is something I’m struggling with, with work stress, depression, and as I learned low-t and I’m not about to make that his problem as well
