Any bros in LA got advice for making friends here?

I moved to LA a little less than a year ago for a job, and it’s been a bit rough for me. I’m naturally an introvert, and I’m used to really walkable, dense cities. I can thrive in NYC because I just walk out the door and the whole city is at my finger tips. LA also, from where I stand, feels cagey and cliquey; doesn’t help I’m in Encinco 🙄
Anyway, I want to make a real effort to start building a small circle here, so any tips appreciated.
