Post Body

I grew up in an extremely religious household where being gay wasn't even talked about as an option. I didn't even know being gay was possible until i was 13, and I discovered I was gay pretty soon after. 5 years later, I'm comfortable in my sexuality to some degree, but I still feel some shame and disgust at myself. I don't feel any of this towards others in the LGBT community, but there's still some of that lingering resentment from my upbringing towards myself. How can I move past this?
