Getting right into the theme of the week, safety;
- Snapchat - As with all things that provide a quick and easy way to seemingly remain anonymous and share quick snaps of yourself privately, not everything is always as it seems. Recently, modded versions of the Snapchat app have been surfacing, where a custom package is installed that allows your recipient to open, download, screenshot and save, without your knowledge, it doesn't trigger any of the usual features the official app would. Remember to always make sure you trust the person you're sending sensitive photos to.
Quick Hint - Telegram is a great alternative. Offering safe, disposable chats, username-only sharing, and more. Fun fact, we also have a group set-up with 250 members already, so come along and join the conversation here.
- Sensible sharing - It's common, moreso as a sub, to get a bit swept-up in the moment when you find a dom, especially for the first time. Just be sensible about how much of yourself you share. Giving up control doesn't mean you don't get a say in how your body is used. Safe interactions involve trust, so make sure you trust the person you're sending pictures of yourself to. A good rule of thumb is to separate your face from your body, if you're nude, keep your face out of view.
- Mental Health Matters - Whether you're struggling with the day-to-day, or an interaction has gone south, remember that you're not alone, these things happen, and if you need us, we're here to help. Alternatively, you can reach out to your local mental health charities, we'll be happy to point you in the right direction for those day or night, regardless of where in the world you're located.
Remember to read the rules and stay safe while chatting amongst yourselves. And remember, you can always reach out to a mod if you need support or need to bring something to our attention.
