I'm dealing with a lot. I am 17 and i'm out of the closet, and I have been for about 8 months. I am dealing with the fact that my dad is getting super mean about it. He won't leave enough alone. He refuses to let me have any privacy. here are some examples. 1. My bf and I were watching a movie together and my dad came in threw the door open and saw us cuddling. He yelled and said that was totally unwanted and then sat there and watched the rest of the movie with us. 2. He will not under any circumstances let my boyfriend and I under the blankets. Not only that but not even separate blankets. He says blankets aren't needed keep it visible. 3. He told me that any weekends that I come back from college with my boyfriend, he is to sleep in the living room and i need to be in my room no exceptions. (A little backstory... my boyfriend's parents are moving to another state which would be over a days drive to go stay with them so my house is all he has when he leaves college for breaks.) 4. Lastly, he told me that I am letting him down and that he will miss me in heaven.....I am still christian and i believe that i am made this way for a reason. My boyfriend was my best friend for 4 years before we started dating so it is not like it is a new guy that my parents are meeting......my mom is ok with all of this because her cousin is gay and he is like my mom's best friend. Anyone have any advice? I'd like to set my dad straight, (no pun intended) but I don't have anywhere else to go during school breaks. Help?
