so I am gay, always have been - i am on the fence with regards to if its nature vs nurture.. on one hand i dont think environment can make you have feelings for same/opposite sex.. on other i am not sure.

so i am seeing a psychiatrist, she is same religion as me (islam) and i mentioned few incidences that happened to me when we were young
1. when i was like 3 or 4 years old, in my country we had some accidental 'friendly bombs/ammunition' and they were flying everywhere.. everyone was panicking.. i was at school and this girl looked worried so all i said was are you ok or something, my bro who is an year older, saw and made fun of me for talking to a girl (well not talking, but maybe showing affection ie caring)

1. when i was like 10/11 ish, i would shower with my cousin like you do.. one time he told me to do it - i was very naive, he is younger than me.. so he puts his arse in front of me but i have no idea what to do.. and i think i may have touched his arse cheek with my hand of w/e but then he goes its my turn, of course i said no..

2. i had always heard about kids (boys) experimenting with each other, i wasnt sure exactly what that meant..

3. also had absent father, who wasnt really there apart from giving money and toys etc

now my psychiatrist implied cuz i was pre teen, at the cusp of hormones etc, my first experience and the stories made my vulnerable brain think that is normal and so maybe i turned out gay because of these..

i retorted that what about the kids who were actually doing it, they turned out straight.. my brothers also are straight.. etc

basically just venting, but maybe interested to hear if you had such experiences at early ages and maybe that led to you being gay?
