So this has happened to me twice in the past month...
About a month ago, I had a guy message me on Scruff. We talked for a little bit getting to know each other. He then asked me if I wanted to go on a date. I said yes. We set up a day, time, and place. I did not hear form him after that. (He didn't say "Have a good day, talk to you later" or anything). I messaged him once but the conversation died quickly. I didn't hear from him again until the day of the date (5 days after the original convo). And that was only to ask if I wanted him to pick up some wine.
Then, this past Tuesday, another guy messages me. we have the usual introductory convo. He asks me if I wanna meet up sometime. I say yes. We decide on getting dinner this Sunday evening. He stopped messaging me. I messaged him tonight and he's been responsive. But I still don't get it. He probably was planning on doing the same thing the first guy did.
So, can anyone please explain to me why once a date has been set up, these guys no longer feel the need to talk to me?
