Does anyone know why despite being widely known nowadays that Soda Pop is extremely unhealthy, it still the most offered type of drink at Dinning Halls and School owned restaurants?

  1. Health Concerns: Soda is high in sugar and calories, contributing to obesity, diabetes, and other health issues among students.

  2. Poor Nutritional Value: Soda offers no essential nutrients, making it a poor choice compared to healthier options like water, milk, or juice.

  3. Dental Health: Regular consumption of soda can lead to cavities and other dental problems.

  4. Encourages Bad Habits: Having soda readily available in schools normalizes its consumption, encouraging bad dietary habits that could last a lifetime.

  5. Interferes with Learning: High sugar intake can cause fluctuations in blood sugar levels, impacting concentration and academic performance.

  6. Mixed Messages: Offering soda contradicts educational messages about healthy eating and living.

For these reasons, many believe that soda should not be offered in school buffets.

Is it possible the existence of some deal with Coca-Cola with the students' interests not certainly in the main picture?
