My NSVs. 1month post op.
Post Body

I didn't expect so many things to have changed so quickly. Here's my list.

I'm 50 lbs down from pre-surgery diet till now.

  • I've made new belt holes, three total. I'm down two sizes.
  • Walking feels like floating. My legs have an easy time of it. My knees aren't hurting. My Achilles tendonitis has been relieved by 60%
  • In the first two weeks, I stopped having sleep apnea. I haven't slept this well in years. My mental function at work is much better. (I had a BiPAP but couldn't stand using it.
  • No seatbelt extender on my last plane flight!
  • I can cross my legs without having to hold my foot on my knee. I can't wait till I can fully cross my legs like the "thin" people of the world.
  • Personal hygiene thing: not gross really: I couldn't wipe my rear end without standing and propping a leg up, but now I can do "regular" wiping, while still sitting. So public restrooms with small sales are easier to handle.
  • Sex life >! My wife and I are happier with flexibility, physical stamina, also, when the fat goes away, it reveals more useful length) !<
