Surgery and Recovery
Post Body

Sleeved on Tuesday (6/18/19) and still in the hospital. The surgery itself went well but my recovery has been terrible. I've had a constant migraine since waking up Tuesday. I can drink but only while in a certain position because it's the only position my head doesn't throb.

Anyone else been through this? They did have some difficulty doing the spinal block, ultimately having to use x-rays to get it in right and now I wonder if they maybe caused a csf leak. Anesthesia discussed a blood patch but that seems to be a very very last resort.

I'm starting to run thin on positivity and hope. We've tried no less than 10 different ways to combat the headache without success. Do I push for a blood patch or let my doctor keep trying things?

Just comparing symptoms and it seems like a csf leak is the most likely cause but I am not a doctor 🤷 send some good vibes and thoughts if you can. I'm really struggling!
